“My chiles arrived in such great shape I immediately roasted them! They smelled wonderful in the box and even better on the grill. I ate a bunch of them with chips right away. Joe Parkers are a little milder than I like, but very tasty. You can't beat the value for the money, especially if you are pining for NM chile. Hatch chiles are the best. I ordered a different growing area a while back and was disappointed (I managed to eat them all, nevertheless). Joe Parkers are that lovely NM green, medium sized, have plenty of room for stuffing if you like rellenos. Mine arrived crisp, blemish free, and ready to go.”

“My chilis arrived in great condition even though they had to make it through the weekend in the PO. I roasted them, peeled them, and froze them for some tasty treats this Fall. I was excited to have this product as I live in Oregon where we might find fresh Hatch Chilis once in a while, but rarely. Love'em.”

“I was very happy with my order. For a " medium " heat I found these chili's to be fairly mild. Which is ok I like some heat but sometimes green chili's can be so spicy hot. I would like to reorder but am interested in just a degree or two warmer.”

“I was disappointed in the quality of Green Chiles. They were quite small and not fresh/firm. I recently went to Ralph Supermarkets close to where I live (So. Calif.) their Hatch chilies were fresh, larger and the price was even better. I had hoped for better with this order through the internet. I wont be ordering anymore. AL”

Dear AL, You ordered one of our smaller varieties. If you'd like larger chile, you'll want to order a larger variety like Big Jim or 1904. As to freshness, you did not opt for 2-Day Air as recommended on the website. The extra day in transit makes all the difference. Best, Preston
