“Shipping was way longer than quoted. After the chilies were picked up by the carrier which was supposed to be next day air, we got them 5 days later after they went to California then to Kentucky before they were shipped to me in Florida. At least 1lb of chilies were rotten and had to be thrown away, and 3/4 of them were vary small. I was not pleased with the processing and final product.”

“Chili arrived fresh. A lot of very small pods though (jalapeño sized). Chili this year was spicy but sadly not as flavorful as last year. I loved the meat of the chili was thick and after blowtorching the skin peeled easily.”

Hi James. You ordered Lumbre, which is our smallest variety of chile. While larger than a Jalapeno on average, it is very small most years. If you want larger chile, I would order the Hot instead.
