Never got my x-hot due to weather. I totally understand that nature happens. However my “hot” was as hot as a bell pepper. Purchased 50 lbs.. this makes me super sad. Thank you to the owners for communicating with me but this is a tough one to swallow.

The chiles were Hot like indication, very small causing great time limits on peeling 25# took 4 1/2 hours to peel.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but … * Aug. 30: I order 25 lbs. of lumbre green chile * Sept. 5: I get the shipping confirmation * Sept. 7: I get an email saying they couldn’t ship it after all, but it will be prioritized to ship out the following week * Sept. 17: I wait 10 days before replying to say that the order never shipped, and ask for an ETA (which is my preference) or a refund * Sept. 20: I never hear back, so I call customer service and am sent to voicemail, where I leave a message including my order number and phone number. * Sept. 21: They call back but don’t leave a message. I call back and am sent to voicemail. I call back again later, a guy picks up, says yeah they haven’t been able to send it out yet, but it’ll def go out next week … probably. He says, “We emailed you an update this morning.” I say I didn’t get anything. He says, “Yeah, you did.” (I did not, and I checked my spam folder) * Oct. 10: I see that they have stopped offering lumbre on their site, and it’s getting late in the season, which makes me worry that they’re going to just ship me a box of mild red chile instead. So I call and request a refund. They promptly issue the refund, but again tell me they’ve sent me weekly updates explaining the delay. I again say I haven’t received any communication. I’ve used them for a few years without a problem, but now I’m kinda screwed for green chile this year, so I can’t imagine I’ll feel comfortable relying on them again.

I just love love ordering all my Hatch Chile's from green and Red Chile's to powder and also love the jar Chile's thank you very very much for being there for me especially During the pandemic Can't live with out my new Mexico Chile's xoxo.

My first order was great my second order was not because you shipped the wrong type I ordered x hot and received big Jim and I am still waiting for you to send me the correct type ,I have been a yearly customer for some time and hope continue to be if you make my order right thanks.

I was notified that this year’s crop was “on the mild side” and advised to “order one heat level higher”. So, we ordered the hottest variety available as we live for the heat… The 25 lb box arrived in good shape and we proceeded to roast the chilies immediately (a lot of work to roast and peel 25lbs!). Finally, a first taste… no heat. Zero. Not even a mild level of heat…. Soooo disappointing! We look forward to Chile harvest season every year. And, since moving to Ohio from NM years ago, we pay the extra cost to have Chile shipped. We plan a Chile-fest and invite our friends over to share numerous recipes and a Chile themed bar-b-que. This is the second year in a row that the Chile supplied by the Green Chile Store has disappointed due to the lack of heat/flavor. Note: our friends and family in NM indicate that they had no problem securing Chile this year that packed a solid heat. Fortunately, we received a “care package” from family that was Awesome (my forehead sweating kind of awesome!). We emailed the company to express our dissatisfaction and got no response whatsoever. So, after 2 years of disappointment (and hundreds of $$ ), we need to find another source to satisfy our Chile fix… Jeff Farmer Farmer7185@yahoo.com

Since moving from NM 5 years ago we have missed the Hatch chilis. So thankful we found you guys! Love,love, LOVE these x-Hot Hatch chilis..

They arrived in excellent condition. They are wonderful. Have purchased from you for several years. Highly recommend your company. Wonderful service. Thank you. We purchased 50 # . Will make many meals. Chili, sloppy Joe’s, tacos. Love the roaster. It makes it so easy.
