“I opted for the slow shipping but it worked out fine. There were some red chilis but not a problem it really dresses up the chili relleno casserole. I was very satisfied with our 25lb box of Chiles”

“I originally ordered Big Jim but then switched my order to Joe Parker. It was fantastic. It arrived in perfect condition. We roasted it and it is delicious. The Hatch Chili Store is my favorite store.”

“Initially told shipment would be sent on Tuesday for Thursday delivery. Then it changed to Wednesday and I had to reschedule some plans. When I received the chile, it had mold and several rotten pods, and did not resemble Big Jim variety. Very thin and not very meaty. I sent on email on 9/4/20, the day I received the package, 11 days later...I still haven't heard from their support email in reference to my concern. The shipping guarantee was not honored as of this review.”

“For the record I love Hatch Chilies. I was introduced to them 20 years ago and seldom seek any other chilies. The problem I had is I didn't understand that if I wanted the "BIG" Big Jims I needed to wait for the season to begin rather than pre-order them. I received 25lbs of small to regular size chilies. Like I said I love the chilies and they certainly didn't go to waste. Last year I ordered too late in the season (apparently) and received the same small to regular size chilies. So I'm confused as to exactly when to order to get the "BIG" Big Jims. Had it not been for that, I would have rated my purchase as 5 stars. I did contact and received a reply from customer service and their suggestion was to order later in the season!? I've pre-ordered and ordered later (in September) and have yet to actually see the elusive "BIG" Big Jims. Quite honestly I can get much larger chilies by buying the local Anaheim Chilies but they don't have the flavor.”

“We could not have been more pleased with the medium-hot fresh Hatch Green chilies received. This is the first time, after relocating to Florida, that we have had the opportunity to roast and smell Hatch green chilies, it was a great day on the island. What a wonderful experience and the chilies were in excellent conditions. Not one damaged chili in the 35 pounds received. The big Jim's were fresh, fat, and full wonderfulness. Thank you, Hatch Chile Store, for what you do they are so much better when they have never seen the inside of can.”
