“This was our first time ordering fresh chiles. We moved to Nashville from Sandia Park NM last year and so missed the smell of roasting chiles. I read the article about The Hatch Chile Store and the generations of loving family effort and decided to get chiles. They came right on time and smelled heavenly fresh. We roasted 1/2 of the 10 lb bag and made amazing quesadilla's. Such fun and delicious result. The rest of the chiles sat in the box for a few days and when we went to roast them, most of them had turned reddish or had started to go limp. We roasted them anyway and yielded about 1/2. They were delicious, but more difficult to peel. Probably 'user error' :) We'll do it again, but will read up on how to keep fresh chile's fresh or roast and freeze. Thank you for such a wonderful treat and all you did to get us our fresh chiles. A little bit of home at our new home.”

“My chili arrived fresh but the medium hot was not medium hot. No hotness in the chili just plain so next time I will have to order hot.”

“The chilies came in very beautiful and fresh! They roasted up great & I froze them. However I ordered medium hot and none so far have had much heat to them. More like a mild chili. The flavor is there but not the heat... I just a little disappointed the heat factor is so lacking”

“Just like in years past the Chile arrived on time and in amazing shape. Maybe two that were a little too ripe but every time I order fresh Chile I always receive about a pound extra to compensate for a few bad apples. When shipping produce it's bound to happen. Especially with temperature fluctuations during transit. Very meaty pods. Great flavor. As always extremely happy with my purchase. Thank you for helping a New Mexican living in another state get his Chile fix. I just hope I ordered enough to last the year. -Matt in Oklahoma”
