My husband is from New Mexico and we now live in TN. He loves the hot green chilies, but I am a southern girl so I prefer the mild. Over the years I have come to enjoy them a little spicier, so the medium-hot is a good compromise for us. Can't eat scrambled eggs without the Hatch green chilies! The service was great.

We ordered 10 pounds of Big Jim this year. Overall, the chiles arrived in great shape, but there were three or four that needed a small bad spot cut out. I'd expect that amount of damage if I was back in New Mexico and bought 10 pounds of chiles from a farm stand. Relative to Big Jim's that we have ordered the past three years, these were a bit more difficult to peel. It must have been the weather. We are very satisfied and will order again for next year.

Flavor was great, Medium Hot is about right. Totally what you'd want from a Hatch Chile

This is my 2nd year to order the fresh Big Jim's. This year's are a little warmer than 2016, yeah! I like the Big Jims for Rellanos, but also use them for burgers, enchiladas, omelets, tacos, stew, etc. Delivery of the peppers were perfect.

We returned to Chicago after two weeks in the Santa Fe area in late September and couldn't get over our chile craving. We ordered 10 lbs of the Big Jim's and they were perfect- firm, meaty peppers, with great flavor and just the right amount of heat. We roasted and peeled them (smelled like NM!) and put them in the freezer for our mid-winter chile fix. So many things to make in the coming weeks. Thanks. We will order again next year.
