“Chiles arrived 1 day before expected which was a nice surprise, I had 2 chilies at the bottom of the 25 pound box that were total mush and a few that appeared to have just some typical breaks and slight damage from processing. I got them into the fridge and than roasted almost all of them the next evening. I will be enjoying roasted Big Jims for a long time... 25 pounds should last us at least 4 or 5 months. I was a little disappointed when I saw a local grocery store ad the day after receiving my chiles that was having a sale on Hatch Chiles for 88 cents a pound, however when I went to the store the quality was not nearly as good as the ones I received from the Hatch Chile Store!”

“I was more than excited to receive my order of "Hatch Green Chile"!! The box arrived in good condition and the chilies were also in good condition . There were a few that started to go bad, but I was cautioned about that when I chose to ship them by ground instead of by air. I do believe I will ship air next time. The best purchase I've this year and the taste is as imagined - wonderful!! Nothing compares to the look, smell, and taste of Hatch Green Chile!!!!”

Dear Elizabeth, Per my voicemail, please select the 2-Day shipping in the future. I'll be re-shipping you a 25lb box next week to replace what spoiled. We always have variation from year to year but have not noticed this year's crop to be thin-meated. If you'd be willing to revise this review to reflect the fact that we replaced what you lost, we would greatly appreciate it. Best, Preston

“30 lbs of chilies were in excellent shape. Did not lose one before roasting over coals and freezing for another year of tasty treats. Flavor is excellent and just the right heat. Been doing this for many years since graduating from UNM and moving east. Thanks Berridge Farms.”

“We love ordering our green and red chiles from The Hatch Chile Store. We have lived in Alaska for many years now but grew up just north of Hatch and lived in Las Cruces for about 13 years. We may have left NM, but we still need our chile fix. Our chiles always arrive when specified and are in great shape when they do. Thanks for doing such a great job getting us our chiles!”

“This year's batch of chilies aren't very hot at all. I'd rate them at barely mild. Kinda disappointed. Hopefully next year will be better.”
