“They take a few days to process the order, plus the ship time (in case you need to time the arrival). I did pay the extra $ for 2-day shipping since I knew I'd have little time to roast it once it arrived. All the chiles were in perfect condition - and I mean that. Every single chile! I have been processing them in batches. It's been a week since they arrived and I still have some to roast. And they still look pretty good (at this point I've only had to toss 3 out). They are what you would expect for big rims - meaty and pretty mild-medium heat (I know it says medium-hot but I'm from NM and if you're used to eating hot food and know chile then you know Big Jims are really not that hot). They are exactly what you would expect to receive if you got them roasted in the parking lot. I purposefully ordered the Big Jims because although they vary from one chile to the next heat-wise, they are large and meaty and that saves me a lot of time in the kitchen.”

“You got them right out to us and we roasted them. But they were not hot at all. We were disappointed. We like picante, and I thought these would have some bite--bit they didn't--not at all.”
