“The chiles are delicious. Most of them arrived usable and I knew the risks with regular shipping, but some were not and had to be discarded. A half dozen or so had turned bright red, so I'm pretty sure they were already turning before shipping. Some were partly red when the arrived. Roasting and preparing for making sauce is very time consuming, but it was fun this once. From now on, I'll just buy enchilada sauce already made. Your product is very tasty!!”

Hi Glynn, If this happens in the future please shoot our customer service team an email! If you are covered by our shipping guarantee we are more than happy to send chile to replace your spoilage. We grade out all red pods before packing your box but the pods can change during transit. We completely understand just how much work it is to roast and peel the chile! “These were sent to granddaughter in North Carolina. She lived here for about 3 years and learned to eat the chiles. We are originally from Ohio., been New Mexico for 10 years.people back East don't know what they are missing. The chiles arrived in good shape and she them very much. Will be sure and send them again next year.”

“I am a Hatch Chile fanatic! I use them, roasted in hamburgers, salsas, everything. These arrived in perfect condition fresh, then we roasted them on our grill, and froze them for future use. I will definitely order them again, the right amount of heat and all the flavor. These were PERFECT!”

“Even though I grow my own chilis in Southern Idaho, they are never as thick and fleshy as the Hatch chilis. Order them every year for my salsa. Just the best!”
