“Love the Chile's! I've ordered for several years now once I found The Hatch Chile Store online. They arrive fresh and so aromatic, takes me back to New Mexico. I only had one small disappointment this time and it was due to my address change. I was able to provide an updated address 4 days before shipment was going out. Unfortunately 2 labels were placed on the order and the package was mailed to my old address. I lost maybe a dozen peppers and salvaged the remainder of the 10 pounds. No one to blame but myself and I will continue to order those wonderful Chile's.”

“Very few of the chilies were fleshy. I remember having a slice of chili on a burger in NM and loving it. That is what I was looking forward to. We roasted and peeled a 5 lb. batch of chiles and only a few were fleshy enough to call a 'slice'. Most were thinner flesh than the skins we peeled off. Your site indicated that your chilies were shipped the same day they were picked. Several had rotten ends, and some were 40% rotten. Not impressed and frankly, disappointed.”

With all the rain we've had this year, our early Big Jim was not quite as meaty as in prior years. As to the spoilage, please send us pictures upon receipt of any spoilage per our shipping guarantee and we will make things right by re-shipping your order if significant spoilage has occured. All of our chile is shipped the day it is picked but in-transit spoilage can happen in as little as 12 hours, especially on years when we've had heavy rain. Please email us at support@hatch-green-chile.com with details as to how much chile you lost to in-transit spoilage.

“These chilies are great! I originally ordered 25 pounds of chilies, and for whatever reason 6 lbs. went bad. So I wrote a review and gave them three stars, only because of the ruined chilies. Then Elaine, from The Hatch Green Chile Store, contacted me about the bad chilies and replaced the 6 pounds of chilies! Wow great service and they backup their product! I will definitely order from them again!”
