Dear Jennifer, Anytime you order at the end of the season, you'll see some of your order turn red in transit. Green season runs from mid July through mid October most years with chile shipped after the 25th of September seeing some ripening in transit. This is to be expected and makes for great color contrast and flavor! Best, Preston

“Most BEAUTIFUL Chile Peppers. Great color, firm and excellent flavor. Excellent value as here in NC not many choices outside of grocery stores. And, very few know of Green Chili! Lived in CO and always loves. Will definitely purchase from again.”

“The chile arrived in perfect condition...firm flesh and bright color! The boxes used for shipping have been upgraded and certainly are a welcome addition. I ordered two five pound boxes and with free shipping it could not have been a better deal! This is the third year of orders and I am a customer for life! The heat of the chile is perfect for us!
