“I'm giving a 3 star review because there were 4 chili peppers that were really mushy on the the ends. Money is not or was not the issue but when paying the amount I did for 4 lbs of authentic hatch chili peppers I would expect to have all perfect peppers as far as being picked and shipped time frame. However I removed the bad mushy ends and fire roasted the chilis and made a pot of chili which I won 2nd place in. I will order more in the future. This is an honest review,I am not stating the peppers were no good.....they were awesome in taste. Perishable items can not be truly determined on freshness and I do understand this. Thank you hatch chili store irregardless the circumstances of how I received my chilis.”

Thankfully, we ship 5lbs in 4lb orders so you would have received more than 4lbs that did not have this problem :)
