“I was greatly surprised by the taste of this chile powder; Supremely Good! It was so nice to have that Hatch Chile taste again. I can't wait to get Hatch Chiles this year(already ordered). But this Seasoning has been a life saver. Try it you'll wonder why you haven't done it before.”

“We are military and when state side I have fresh chile shipped. Right now we are in South Korea so that is a no go. The green chile powder is the perfect solution. Great taste perfect heat. Shipping and customer service was awesome. Thank You for shipping to APO addresses.”

“surprised to find it's non-edible unless heated?! well I have sprinkled it on some food and have had no ill effects but not impressed with the heat, expected much more from the "hot" variety. I'll try greater quantities and in heated dishes, maybe that will make a difference. I like your idea of listening to your customers and just some food for thought. Apple, who has been and is nearly the largest company in the history of the world has had a long term policy of NOT asking their customer base what they want, they rather produce and tell them what they have. This goes back to Steve Jobs, his policy. I used to work with him.”

Hi James, All Chile powders produced in this area are treated as "not ready to eat" for food safety purposes unless they are irradiated. We do not irradiate our powders as customers have objected that in the past. That's for the tip as to asking customers for feedback. There are many reasons we do this and believe it works well for our company. Feedback like yours is proof of concept for these practices as it gives us the opportunity to engage meaningfully with out customers. We have no ambitions of being the world's largest company. We are a small, family owned and operated company with a simple mission and believe large companies often create far more negativity externalities for society than the value they provide.
