“I did not like your tamales at all first they did not have hardly any pork in them so no I will not be ordering anything else and I will not recommend you to others”

Hi Doris, I understand you were upset with the amount of filling in your tamales. We searched all over Southern New Mexico to find the best store bought tamales, and the Amigo's tamales are by far the best. With store bought tamales there will always be less filling than with homemade tamales. This is so the masa does not break apart which would cause the tamale to fall apart. “I’m giving 3 stars because the tamales were bland, and not what I’m used to. I grew up in Albuquerque, so I was disappointed in the quality and flavor. My shipment arrived on time, intact, and with plenty of dry ice. I would love it if you could ship tamales from El Modelo’s”
