The Honda CBF125 is a great starter bike. Lightweight, easy to ride and great fun. Honda have a very smooth engine and are reliable. In 2 years of owning mine, I have never had an issue. Always started first time on the button, even when it was standing around for a month! Like with any bike, rust can be an enemy but with my Honda a regular wash kept it at bay. The fuel economy was great, I used to get around 120-125mpg: £8.50 or so and the tank was full and I used to ride it to work for around 1 month. Everything on the bike felt solid and well made. The only thing I would have changed if I had the bike longer were the tyres, in the rain they were not very good. You had to be really careful, not much lean around corners and certainly avoid manhole covers - very dangerous when wet. All in all a decent bike for the beginner and costs only £17 road tax.

Bike it's good,it's nice to drive in city but no more than 15-20 miles after this you start feeling not really comfortable. If I need to tell from 0 to 10 I give to this bike 6-7.Nice small city bike.

I would say to any one thats thinking of buying a starter bike to invest in the CBF 125 its comfortable and just seems to go on forever. It has never let me down in the 3 yrs i have had it and i bought it 2nd hand. Although braking is not great, if you ride properly this is not really an issue. Economy is great £17 road tax a year and apprx £15 to fill the tank its a bargain. It sailed through every mot without so much as an advisory. I would however have a high quality chain and sprocket set fitted(i have a D.I.D set) as the manufactured one doesn't seem to last. I had 2 chains in the first year but have had no problem since fitting the D.I.D set
