“While I've only had these boots a few weeks now, so far so good. They are extremely comfortable. I'm use to the traditional logger style logger boots. But here recently I've been having problems with to much weight being transferred to my big toes due to the high heels, and my high arch, causing pain. With the low heel, these balance out the load on your feet reducing the pain on the forward portion of your foot/toes. The leather is very soft and supple. Its a smooth out leather but has a distressed look. It does show scratches relatively easy, but seems to hold up well. No slipping in the heels, as this boot has the perfect ratio of roominess and snugness. The outsoles are extremely grippy and provide a lot of anti-slip traction, probably the best I've had. The rubber is soft and gummy, so it may wear out fast, time will tell. As this is a traditional leather boot with no padding, these boots stay cool and comfortable in the hot weather and breathe well. They are a bit chilly like your normal logger when the temps go sub 50 degrees. These may be the perfect combination of comfort, durability, and style of any fire boot.”
