“This one is great for working out adjustments to salinity for local water supply. Can be a bit hard to use if you are not supper sensitive to colour the Kh switch from blue is easy, but the other can be difficult for red/green insensitive eyes.”
“This is easily the worst API test. It is annoying and messy to have to invert the tube every drop, because the caps are not the best (the liquid tends to sit in the cap and spill out a tiny bit when you open the tube), and I can't manage it without getting some on my fingers /or outside the tube.
The colour change is a little hard to see, you should use a white paper, or a wall to look through the tube.
I'm not convinced this titration test, with its very low volume, could be a particularly accurate measure.”
