“This is the second Eheim pick-up I have bought. The last one lasted 11 years and finally died but I think that might have been my fault. These filters are great for polishing my tank water. I use mine to go from tank to tank for that extra sparkle in the water. I would highly recommend the Eheim”

“Was a little skeptical about this when i plugged it in to my 3ft setup with all the great reviews eheim was getting as it seemed to run Quiet loudly for expectation of there rep. but with further loosely inserting a thin rectangle of reinforcing black rubber matting (.5mm) between filter backing so caps can still sucker glass and wearing it in for a couple of weeks. is Now working Great runs continuous most of day and night -Not- dead silent but i can sleep with this filter on in my bedroom. could go down a size with secondary system in place filtration hooked up to 3ft tank otherwise good way to go!
