“Ok read many reviews about this item been underpowered.. no it's not
It works brillianly.. the only problem is it let's very tiny particles through the filter part.
But that clears up very rapidly. Best thing I've bought in years. Brilliant in gravel. but becareful in sand it will suck it up..
So if your still think it's underpowered use a dyson problem solved.
Do I recommend this item yes I do”
“Completely works, better than expected. Sucks all the rubbish out of the sand substrate (marine tank). Perfect size for a Waterbox 220.6, just sticks up out of the water so you don't have to get your arm wet. Turn it on then work your way around the tank cleaning out all the dirt and waste. Pulls sand up a couple of inches only while the waste gets effortlessly sucked up into the filter. Innovative/genius design when you look at. Everyone needs one of these, especially when starting up a new tank that's going through its ugly brown stage!!”

“Reasonably easy to clean out. Whether it’s waterproof underwater is more dependent on how tight u can close the battery cage. Standard sized aquariums wouldn’t really have a need for the extender. I find that if water is spraying from the top - it is the time to rinse out the filter.
I bought this Eheim over fluval, cause AA were easier 2 get compared 2 C. Eheim had less extra attachments to keep track of and weren’t trying 2 trick u into buying additional filter cartridge.”
