Set up is straightforward and easy, I found pellets are easier to dispense more evenly on a regular basis than flakes, however, in saying that, this auto feeder is excellent. “Just a follow up from my phone conversation Wednesday 25 January, re the Eheim auto fish feeder I received. At some stage ,The box it was packed in was opened and the mounting bracket had been removed prior to shipping. I appreciate "shop stealing" is an ongoing problem and sometimes difficult to Police. I can manage without the bracket, and the turn around for return shipping and replacement in this instance was not warranted, however, for future reference, when a package appears to have been deliberately 'tampered" with and the outer seal broken, especially with online purchases, perhaps the person responsible for dispatching orders could see and be aware of a potential problem and take a look to ensure everything is still intact there are no missing parts. Apart from this issue, I have been a regular customer and have always received my orders in exceptional time.”

Unfortunately when I took the battery compartment apart the secure clip had a crease in it so didn’t secure well the batteries kept pushing the end off. It took me a long time and gentle coaxing to get it to fit well enough. Also big difference between 2nd and 3rd step on the feeder. But it does work well now”

“The best product to buy for those who go away as it can be set to 4 different feeds and can dose more than one feed at a time if needed. Can use flake, crisps or small pellet food. The food door is adjustable for feeding and the fan keeps food dry. Well worth buying.”
