“When it came time to replace my Eheim Air pump 200 I was very happy that I chose to upgrade to the 400. It easily runs multiple large air stones and doesn't seem any louder than the 200.
The pump comes with multiple accessories, including air-stones, a split connector and extra tubing.
Having two separate dials to to control the air flow is a great feature.

“Fast delivery. Good quality. Silent. It’s just 4watt but very powerful for just two lines.
Recommend 3-4 lines, so you might need dividers. Otherwise, the bubbling sound makes you annoyed.

“This pump is much better than some of the generic pet store pumps I've looked at. It has sufficient output for a 110 L 3 foot tank at least (using three under-gravel filters). Pretty quiet but needed a bit of foam cushioning to really stop vibrations. The last one I had lasted about 10 years before becoming noisy.”

“I was disappointed how noisy the motor was. It rattles even while holding it in my hands. I didn't find it to be "ultra quiet" at all.
When I turn the knobs to reduce the air out-put, it didn't really make that much difference to the two Eheim air diffusers. When I put my ear against the aquarium, it sounds like eggs are being rapidly boiled. I've had to turn off the air pump at night so we can all get some sleep.
I chose the model as my old Eheim Air Pump 400 l/h Dual Outlet motor burnt out. The old model was much better.
