“Lovely fresh but when frozen/defrosted and cooked mussels become 'glued' to the inside of the shells and are very difficult to eat.”

Hi Tony, Thank you for your message. As a live fresh product, we only advise our customers to store the mussels in the refrigerator and consume them within 3 days. As mentioned on our product page we highly do not advise for them to be stored in the freezer. Apologies if this was not made clear by us. If you would like to try the mussels again, please only consume them within 3 days and store them in the refrigerator.
