“The mussels were all fresh and not much cleaning required, the meat was lovely and juicy, unfortunately we had a rogue few that were full of silt which ruined the sauce when they opened in he pan”

Hi Claire, Thank you for your feedback. Although we are glad to hear that you did enjoy mussels, we are very sorry that they were not all up to our usual standards. We do advise our customers to submerge them in cold tap water for about 5-10 minutes to really get any bits of grit out.
