“All arrived live and well and tasted great. Only comment, they are Loch Fyne oysters, but I suppose Morecambe Bay includes the Scottish South coast.”

“some came through dried out already. I kept the oysters quite cold too! back and bottom of the fridge.”

“These are lovely oysters, but you know what would be better? Shucked oysters! I didn't even think they would come unopened and I have to say, the novelty of using a bloody screwdriver and teatowel on Valentine's Day quickly wore off after about two gritty oysters. If shucking at home is your thing, 5 stars for these, but buyer beware, as I wasn't prepared and most of two dozen sat in the fridge for two days until I could acquire a proper oyster knife. Even then, it wasn't pretty. Perhaps Wright Bros could offer the option of closed or pre schucked when ordering online? Would make me go back but otherwise i wouldn't buy these again.”

Hi Matthew, Thank you for your feedback. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the oysters but apologise for the inconvenience caused. As mentioned on the product they are delivered fresh and unshucked as we currently don't offer our oysters shucked as it would shorten the use by date and make them harder to transport. We aim to provide the freshest products possible to our customers and unfortunately in some cases, this results in not being able to fully pre-prepare certain products.
