“The box contained two whole lemon sole which had gone off (opened on the day of delivery and smelt so strongly of ammonia that you couldn’t eat it), and I suffered food poisoning after cooking the whiting for dinner (could well have been the oysters I ordered separately or my own cooking, but either way unpleasant!). Overall box seemed like good value but not after throwing two whole fish away”

“An excellent selection of incredibly fresh fish. Sensible sized portions, a good variety. Can definitely recommend, you don't know what you're going to get but that's part of the experience. Well done Wright Brothers.”

“The first ever box we received was great - whole fish, great quality but this box was made up mostly by gurnard abs whiting so a huge dissappintment”

“Keep it locally caught: It makes it interesting to learn to cook different types of fish, so the variety in the box was fun. The haddock and gurnard were great. Small lemon sole....If I keep getting these, I'll move on. Tuna from the Indian Ocean...why? I'd rather support the local catch.”
