“When you order the Catch of the Day Box, you take pot luck with what you may get. Sometimes it's amazing and sometimes it's well; not so amazing. With our last Box we received some Dover Sole. I have never had so many bones in a fish as we did with these fillets. Even more than usual for Dover Sole. My conclusion is that I won't take pot luck again and will in future order exactly what we want because in general, the Wright Bros fish is fantastic.”

As this box is intended to reflect the best of that day's market, you are correct that there is an element of luck with regards to what species you will receive. There is likely to be a selection of whole fish (trimmed and ready to cook) and fish portions. We do however make sure the quantity and quality of the items consistently reflect great value.
