“The fish is generally well varied and fresh. However the last order we received had a few fish with a very short expiry date from delivery. Also fish of the same kind individually packaged varied hugely in size making it difficult to manage portions. Finally, the delivery wasn’t managed well as I was not informed of the time the box was attempted for delivery which resulted in it being delivered to a neighbour as we were not in and it not being refrigerated for hours.”

Hi Anna, Thank you for your feedback. We can assure you that all our wild fish are freshly sourced directly by our coastal team in Brixham. Most of the fresh fish have a shelf life of 3-5 days. They can also be stored in the freezer to enjoy for a later day and will still remain fresher than anything you can buy chilled from the supermarket. As fresh caught fish, sizes may vary depending on what is available in the market. However, our team will always ensure that they pick the freshest and best catch of the day. “Fantastic range in the box. Really nice to get ling - not one you see every day. Previously I was a bit concerned about mail-order fish but this always arrives really fresh and well packed, still surrounded in ice.”
