“This is advertised as 100-130g per packet at same price, and for 1-2 people. I received a packet with 4 very small fillet pieces and it was hard to believe it was 100g in weight. No weight marked on packet. Certainly not enough for 2 people. Therefore both disappointing, and |I did not feel it was a very honest way of selling. You should mark up packets with the weight and give a refund per 10g under the top weight. It puts me off ordering items priced in this way. I have frozen a second packet so will be interested to see whether it is similar to the first one.”

Hi Ann, Thanks for reviewing this product. The pack weight for the Monkfish Fillets is 200g - 260g (2x 100g - 130g fillets). Occasionally we may make up the pack weight with an extra fillet or two if the fish are smaller. If you use the minimum pack weight to decide whether to buy the product, then hopefully you won't be disappointed with the contents, but we do always aim for the middle of the range where possible. Of course, fish come in different sizes so there will be some variance. We check the weight of each pack before they are sent but if you are ever unsure, just pop it on the kitchen scales to check and if there are any issues, get in touch with our customer service team. Your feedback is very much appreciated and we will take a look at the product description and make any adjustments if required so that customers know exactly what they are receiving.
