“This was a present sent to my Uncle for his 80th birthday. I thought the King of Fish a fitting gift for someone with a naval background! Sadly I wasn't there to see it arrive, but the next day I got a note from my aunt saying "Just enjoyed the magnificent turbot. It was delicious. Baked it in the oven with a little white wine and capers. Served with English asparagus, carrots and baby Jersey Royal potatoes...and a glass of cold Chablis. Thank you so much. What a treat!" - which I think says it all”

“An excellent fish with a delicate flavour. We simply baked it with a little white wine and some slices of lemon on top. The leftover fish was added to a bechamel sauce with toasted breadcrumbs on top, that too was delicious.”
