Beautiful tasting lobster but the a lot of water came out of the claws when they were cracked and they were extremely hard to crack too.

Terrible quality, mushy tail meat and spongy watery claw meat. Large Lobster got 350grams of usable flesh £45 pound

From all their advertising I believed I was buying a British lobster, but what turned up was a Canadian lobster I could have bought from Aldi for half the price. I feel I was deceived and am making a complaint to trading standards.

The lobster was delivered on time and packed beautifully but, having ordered a large lobster, I was disappointed at the amount of meat on it. It didn't matter too much as I bought it to prepare a lobster sauce (and that was delicious) but if I had wanted to prepare, say, a lobster salad it wouldn't have been enough to feed two people.

Delivery prompt and time accurate but this is not my 1st purchase from Wright Brothers and have previously purchased lobsters, which arrived fresh. So I thought I would get ahead for Christmas and bought it early to freeze. On arrival it informed it had been frozen and not to refreeze, due to the cold weather and good packaging the item still felt frozen so I have placed in the freezer. This may not always work out. I looked and the website informed this may occur but I would not order again unless I can be assured it is fresh and I choose to freeze if I need it for a future date. Could this be an option? Date of experience: December 06, 2023
