Hi June, Thank you for your message. Yes, the VAR salmon is farmed. As described in our product description, the premium VAR salmon is a farmed fish from a pioneering whole wild salmon producer off the Faroe Islands. The farming process is centred around the welfare of the fish, from the salmon egg to the final harvest and live in a natural environment with conditions that replicate their wild cousins.
