“Very disappointed, this crab should not have been sent! It was badly presented, looked nothing like that displayed. It had 7 large pieces of shell, from 9mm to 22mm by about 7/9mm wide obviously caused by being crushed by weight. Fresh crab is what I was looking forward to and I suspect this had been frozen. Fresh is what I was paying for, the package states may have been frozen. The description only mentions (frozen) at the end of the small print as a disclaimer.”

Hi P.L. Herraty, Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry that the dressed crab received was not up to our usual standards. We will pass your feedback on to our packing team to ensure that this doesn't happen again. However, we can assure you that the product sent was fresh and not frozen. The note on the packaging is placed as a disclaimer in the event of bad weather, a frozen alternative would have been delivered. Rest assure, we have not sent any frozen crabs recently and will always notify customers beforehand if an alternative was sent. We will be in touch shortly to discuss this further.
