“All oysters are so fresh but the only one reason made me disappointed was they are much salty than we expected, we get used to drink oyster water but we cant do it thisntime. Anyway, the delivery and packaging was good, fast and beautiful, and it will be great if recommend other oysters to us, we love oyster so much!”

Hi Angus, Thanks for your review. The reason Jersey Oysters may taste a little saltier than you are used to is because they are grown out in the free flowing ocean, rather than in the mouth of an estuary (where Oyster farms are often located) with a mix of fresh and salt water. Jersey has a huge tidal range which allows access further out to sea. The salinity does change a bit throughout the year. I hope this information is helpful. Best wishes, The Wright Brothers
