Followed cooking instructions and had probe inserted. Pastry soggy as stated oven setting to low to make it crispy. So took it off and the salmon was delicious. Expensive for plain salmon

Hi Denise, Thanks for reviewing the Salmon En Croute. I'm sorry it didn't turn out as you had hoped. All ovens are slightly different and many variants affect the cooking times, like what else you have in the oven at the same time, how often you open the oven door etc, so the cooking times given should be used as a guide. You may need to cook it for longer or turn up the temperature a little to crisp up the pastry - The Salmon will remain lovely and moist inside the pastry, even if it requires a little longer in the oven. If you ever have any questions about our products please feel free to give us a call - 020 3855 5300 Kind regards, Team Wright Brothers

The cooking times were far short of what was needed- it took twice the time suggested on the label. We found the pastry rather soggy as well. shame, as this was our main course on Christmas day.

Hi There, Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry to hear things didn't go well with your beef Wellington. We have tried to give accurate, simple cooking instructions based on average oven cooking times but there are lots of variants that can affect this, like the type/size of your oven and what else you have in the oven while you cook the Wellington/en Croute. It is best to use these times as a guide and check regularly during cooking. It is also important to make sure the product is fully defrosted before cooking. Best Wishes, Team Wright Brothers
