“The LED lights work very well and the remote actually functions correctly (unlike others I have bought from several venders) I have used these on my 32” LCD TV and ran them from the inbuilt 3v USB connection on the rear of the TV. This means that they turn on and off with the TV (no extra switching).
Overall a good product worthy of 5 stars, I fealt it only fair to give four because despite cleaning the rear plastic of my TV with Isopropol alchohol prior to attaching the led strip, the strips self adhesive backing failed after just two days and the led strip peeled off! I have now glued the strip usng a hot mealt gun. Its an old TV so not worried about the damage it might have caused, but at least they’ve stayed on now. Looks amazing and the different effects are great! Would be good in a childs room as bed time illumination fun as they are low voltage and the strip itself doesnt get very warm to touch. I use it for background illumination to for my music studio when working on my DAW (Studio One 3). Nearly forgot to mention that along the strip are regulat gold marks where you can cut the strip to length if required.
Please note that the photo ive uploaded has two effects, the led rear illumination reviewed here and a seperate disco effect light (not reviewed here and not part of this purchase) however the two effects are great!”
