“Our particular cover did fit over the pool, unfortunately perhaps a bit too easily in that is was too big and would drop down into the water and create it's own pool on top of the cover, and in our version there are four holes giving access to the water inside the pool for some reason. Obviously the drawback with this is that debris falls into that water and pollutes it, but also insects can then access that body of water and you end up with critters swimming around. Not great design. A family member bought the same product and got something entirely different, a "bubble wrap" type covering that didn't fit over the pool, it just laid on top. Seems that there is no uniformity to the product and as a result not always the same thing arrives. If they could take the best from the variety of products that this seems to be, your would have one decent product that works proper!”
