“This has been a game-changer for our WFH solution.
My partner and I are in a small apartment, therefore are required to share an office desk on alternating WFH days. The 4-memory control panel means we both get unique sitting and standing heights to suit our individual preferences.
I ordered the desk almost two months prior while it was on pre-order and it still arrived the exact day they told me it would. It was well-protected, and did not have any dents or blemishes from delivery (just the natural wood markings which add so much appeal).
As this is a genuine natural wood top it is rather heavy and feels very sturdy.
The desk is very comfortable to work at, and easily makes minute adjustments of just a few mm if required. I wish my office had this because I never want to return to my generic work desk now!
My only grievance I have is that shipping was extra on top of the desk. You're an online company (really, considering you have one store in Melb). I think it would be much nicer to factor in shipping costs so people aren't stung when checking out by another charge.
If "extra regional" surcharge is required, your hands are tied, however I live in the CBD of a major capital city and would have rather the price not been extra upon checkout.”
“The service delivery was excellent. I knew that I had a long wait because I ordered specific leg colours that were not in stock at the time. But Omnidesk still called to keep me updated on the stock delivery etc. Delivery was also organised well.”
“Customer service is very responsive through email and live chat. Delivery guy was very helpful and polite.
The downside would be I engaged with online chat to confirm what desk model comes with cable management, her response was very vague and so I believed that my desk comes with cable management. Until I received the parcel, I realised that I have to purchase cable management separately and have to pay another shipping fee for it. I tried to avoid 2 shippings by engaging with online chat who turned out to be not helpful at all.
My desktop also came with significant repair mark which does not look pleasing. Support team was very helpful in arranging another delivery. However, the communication on when will the delivery arrive is not clear. I still got my delivery in the end but the process of not sure when it will arrive was very stressful.”
