“Great desk - very sturdy and solid. The setup booklet in the package needs some work. Good thing the online videos are easy to follow. I had placed the order to have the controller on the left hand side. But decided to change it to the right hand side while I was setting up. Glad that it worked out fine. The cable management tray is very useful. I am very pleased with my purchase.”
“Since the start of the pandemic I couldn't decide on whether or not I should invest in a better desk. The Omnidesk has phenomenal reviews and is well regarded by my friends who have also purchased one.
When I noticed there was a sale with $200 off, I bit the bullet and I was not disappointed.
The build quality is exceptional, the assembly process is simple and from a functional perspective I can not ask for more. This is easily the best desk i've ever purchased, hands down.
If I were to fault Omnidesk at all, it would be their choice of delivery partners. Hunter Express Couriers were the company that delivered my desk and as you can see from the photos below they were very rough with my desk. In the photos below you can see a footprint on the desk box and the tabletop arrived very broken. The desk itself is packaged very well with support structures, foam and lots of heavy cardboard.
I'd like to make it clear, this is not Omnidesk's fault at all. The pandemic has put a lot of pressure on delivery services including AusPost, so Omnidesk did not have many options but to choose a courier service that was available. When I contacted them they were very sympathetic and immediately assisted me with getting a replacement. I purchased the $30 route insurance, I urge anyone who is thinking of buying a desk to spend the $30 and protect your investment. Best $30 I ever spent.
I ordered my desk on the 30th September and I finally received my replacement tabletop on the 25th of October. I requested that Omnidesk use a different delivery company as Hunter Express cannot be trusted. They used their own private driver, he was very careful with my table top and was very professional.
In my discussions with Omnidesk they have assured me that going forward they will look at different shipping options and perhaps review their use of Hunter Express (their google reviews are very poor also). This tells me they do listen to their customers and they care.
I'd like to thank Gary, Heather and Alex from the Omnidesk team, they dealt with my constant phone calls and change in shipping addresses (as I moved homes before the desk arrived to my original order), and were very understanding and helpful during the process of replacing my table top.
You have a customer for life and I'll likely purchase a second desk soon for my partner.”
“This is a very sturdy desk, and well worth the extra money you pay compared to your typical flat-pack computer desk. Once assembled its a very stable and smooth surface to work on - much more comfortable than the flimsy desk I had previously. It also looks great - especially with the (add-on) cable tray hiding away all the usual cable spaghetti. Table surface wipes clean easily, and so far there’s no visible marks or scratches despite using the desk every day while working from home during lockdown.
Assembling the desk took me an afternoon (with breaks). I used a combination of the included instructions and YouTube videos to guide me through the process, and found it fairly straight forward. Yes, it takes a bit of work, but I actually found it easier than a lot of the other flat pack furniture I’ve dealt with.”

Delivery was very quick, however assembly was more confusing than it looked in the video, written instructions could’ve been better.
