“I was really interested in trying all of the rootist's products based off of the idea behind all the products and the brand. I was really interested in trying a fermented hair product and I love the sustainability aspect of the brand. I was at first kind of disappointed over how small the biobrew spray was. The packaging is pretty large, so it was a little underwhelming to open it up to a significantly smaller bottle. The packaging is beautiful though and I love the detail of how the box imitates the separation that occurs in the product. I can't say I have noticed a difference after my hair when using this product. I definitely didn't have frizz, but my hair wasn't as soft and silky as usual. Because of the kind of product it is, it kind of has that sour kombucha smell which is a little off putting.

“This by far was my favorite packaging. In a tube in its tropical rose gold theme, you open the little tube at the bottom, open the top, and there she is, a tiny glass bottle filled with sparkly serum. She is cute as heck. When you shake to combine the liquid it turns creamy, but it still shimmers. This smells amazing as well, and the pump applicator on this thing is top notch. I my hair is long and I don't have time to fight with a pump, but this one is strong and puts out a lot of product in just one pump. It works great with your conditioner, and my brush glides right through my curls no problem. My only complaint if any is the frizz control isn't as strong a I would like, but with my hair being curly, my frizz is harder to control. It does seem to make my hair more tolerant and stronger though.
