“I've been a licensed cosmetologist for over 20 years and have used just about every product line out there.. I was really intrigued by The Rootist line as soon as I read their brand description and at first thought "yeah right" concerning their ultra concentrated shampoo and conditioner and that it only takes a small pump or two and that's why the bottles are so small.. Lots of brands claim the same but never end up living up to the hype! These actually do! Just a few small pumps lather up beautifully and if they don't all it takes is a little water.. It smells amazing and really leaves your feeling like youve had a whole scalp treatment after being washed. My color seemed brighter as well which I don't even think they claim to help with. I have really fine and straight hair and I also lighten my hair so of course I have color damage.. My hair really truly felt healthier, had more body and styled easier as well as held better throughout the day.. This is a product line I could easily see being sold strictly via salon and spas”

The bottle is so unique & aesthetically pretty. This shampoo lathers so good making it long lasting due to not having to use much of it.
The smell is also unique.. It has a tad bit of a minty smell, but it’s not overpowering.
I definitely recommend this, especially if you have a hard time finding shampoos that work for your hair :)”

Strengthen Concentrated Peptide Shampoo for over three weeks I love the results leaves my hair smooth and less frizzy , you are supposed to use only half of the amount you normally use to wash your hair , but my hair is very thick and I need a littlle more , one small pump was not enough for me , my hair needs at least two pumps for my desired relsults.”

I have worked in the professional hair care industry for a few years so I have gotten to try out many products and have a lot to compare it to. I have thin, fine, frizzy hair that is somewhere between wavy & curly (2C-3A) and I have a ton of breakage- but not due to coloring because my hair is not colored. So I was excited to try this out.
I love how compact and small the bottles of shampoo & conditioner are and that the bottles are easily recyclable - something that is hard to find in a lot of hair care products! They are concentrated so a little goes a VERY long way. Just read the instructions and you will be good! This product does have a vinegary scent but to me it was the least vinegar scented of the 3 products I tried (shampoo, conditioner and treatment). My hair definitely felt really clean and while the scent was not my favorite, I did love how soft and clean my hair felt for days after. I have used it a few times and I have noticed less shedding with all these products as I used them in combination with the treatment, shampoo & conditioner! So I do hope it helps with my hair thickness over time with more use.”
“I appreciate that this shampoo is concentrated, and you really can get away with using less than you would of other shampoos. I lather up two pumps in my wet hands for the first wash, and then just one pump after rinsing for the repeat, and it’s plenty for my thick, wavy hair. The scent is pleasant and fruity, and I’m impressed that there is so much rich lather without SLS or SLES. The only drawback is that it made my hair feel a bit dry and tangled after rinsing, though the conditioner fixed that quickly!”
