This stuff really works! I've been using this product about 2-3 times a week for a few weeks now and I do have to say it does deliver results. Im not too crazy about the smell of the product but It doesn't smell bad at all. Since it does contain apple cider vinegar you are able to smell it. The results you get from this is well worth the smell though. My scalp has not felt cleaner! After applying (you don't need very much at all) you start to feel a tingle and I actually really like that part! It rinses clean and with shampoo there's no scent left behind and you get all the benefits of a scalp rinse! I definitely see myself buying more when I run out because this really does improve my scalp which from time to time gets a little dry especially in the winter time.”

“I've been a licensed cosmetologist for over 20 years and have used just about every product line out there.. I was really intrigued by The Rootist line as soon as I read their brand description and at first thought "yeah right" concerning their ultra concentrated shampoo and conditioner and that it only takes a small pump or two and that's why the bottles are so small.. Lots of brands claim the same but never end up living up to the hype! These actually do! Just a few small pumps lather up beautifully and if they don't all it takes is a little water.. It smells amazing and really leaves your feeling like youve had a whole scalp treatment after being washed. My color seemed brighter as well which I don't even think they claim to help with. I have really fine and straight hair and I also lighten my hair so of course I have color damage.. My hair really truly felt healthier, had more body and styled easier as well as held better throughout the day.. This is a product line I could easily see being sold strictly via salon and spas”
“This leaves my scalp very clean. I apply it on dry hair before taking a shower. it has a creamy consistency and a light minty scent. You can slightly feel the fresh mint on your scalp but very slightly. The first time I used it my scalp felt really clean I saw no big difference in my hair besides the very clean feeling. The second time I used it is when I noticed a difference my hair was more shiny more manageable and my scalp was really clean. I only need to use this one twice a week for my scalp to be really clean and don't have any buildup or residue.”
“I'm unsure of this product. This is the first time i have ever used a product like this on my hair, and it's definitely giving me mixed emotions. I do love the way you can apply it. Just separate your hair, applying directly to the scalp & rub it in. Easy as can be.
Like directions, I let it sit for about 10 minutes or so. During the process, i started to get a weird tingly feeling. It was super drying to my scalp and the smell was a little overbearing.
I'm not sure if it was for me, but i'd still give it a try.”
“The top of my hair gets very oily quickly while the remainder of my hair gets very dry. I loved using this scalp pre-shampoo because the applicator was easy to insert in my hair to part my hairline and product dispensed easily. Many pre-shampoos tend to burn my eyes when the scent and/or formula lingers and permeates throughout my scalp but this one did not. It feels tingly in a soft and soothing way and I like how it preps my scalp for a more in depth wash. It rinses out easily and leaves my scalp fresh, hair soft and not greasy.”
