“I know ACV is all the rage in hair care and health in general, but I’ve never used it before. This pre-shampoo product, while effective, irritated my scalp each time I used it. I think the combination of acids and ACV may be too much for my scalp, which surprised me since I use a scalp scrub every two weeks with no trouble. This product made my scalp sting, so I wasn’t able to keep it on for more than five minutes. I would love to have something like this in my routine since I’ve used straight glycolic acid on my scalp every few months for years now, but this one just didn’t work for me. I’m giving it two stars because I think people with oilier scalps or more product build-up may find the experience refreshing, but individuals with sensitive scalps should search elsewhere.”
