I'm a licensed professional within a salon. Have been for over ten years. And I am beyond impressed with this beauty called the rootist. Frankly, it's the perfect product for anyone that is not a fan of dry shampoo typically. Not at all over powering, application with the sliding brush is phenomenal, and didn't leave a good feel at my scalp at the end of the day. I noticed I was able to go longer between washes but didn't have that feeling of I need to wash it. Transparent within your hair. and used it daily between shampoos on my part line within in a nine day time span. I ended up washing about every three days and didn't use day of wash. This is a product i would have to say is a win for those that have a scalp that can be a challenge to find that happy medium between oily and drying it out. As I typically don't like dry shampoo this gave me that refresh in between without the dislike of having dry shampoo in my hair.

As a licensed cosmetologist, I absolutely love trying the latest and greatest new innovative beauty products. I’m especially a fan of beauty products that are clean and eco friendly which is why I was so excited to try The Rootist Dry Shampoo Powder. I recommend this for anyone that uses dry shampoo. The applicator is a brush and I found it made it easy to get a clean application around my hairline and in my part where I need it most. I have dark hair and I didn’t have any white cast, it absorbed excess oil, and left my scalp feeling refreshed. Another reason I recommend The Rootist Dry Shampoo Powder is that it is talc free and has ingredients to balance the scalp. The Rootest used fermentation technology to create an ingredient called Rootbiomic Ferment, which support’s wellness of the roots, scalp, and hair. Overall I have less excess oil between shampoos and my scalp feels great.

This product not only smells incredible but it actually WORKS. the application is so easy and so much better and healthier for the environment than a spray. It actually makes my hair look refreshed and if I don’t have time to wash and fully do my hair, this is my new go-to. Truly a new staple in my weekly routine. Oh and did I mention it smells incredible?

In exchange, for my honest review, I received, The Rootist, dry shampoo powder! It is a loose powder that is in a tube with a make up like brush that allows you to apply it specifically to your scalp. It absorbs any excess oils that are sitting on the root of the hair. It’s the perfect dry shampoo. The dry shampoo powder is white but it quickly absorbs into the scalp so you don’t have any leftover residue! It doesn’t have a scent and doesn’t cause sensitivities or breakouts! It doesn’t make your head itch. It works great in combination with the serum clarify purifier, which is also for oily scalps! There are lots of videos on Sephora and the website for The Rootist products which shows you how to use the products in combination together ! Separate the hair so that you can apply this product straight to your scalp! Be sure to pat it in then use a comb to finish getting it inside the root follicle! then you can brush your hair as needed. You cannot go wrong with this product. it works great and it makes your hair grow faster and gives it more volume! It keeps it from laying flat great for all types of hair, but really important for those who are suffering from lots of oil sitting on the scalp! it’s all also great in between washes if you don’t wash your hair multiple times a week !

I am always using dry shampoo because I struggle with an oily scalp but this is the first powder dry shampoo I've tried. The first thing I noticed is the packaging! It is so compact, I can just throw it in my purse and I just love being able to use a brush to apply it onto my scalp. I do appreciate that the powder is more invisible in my brown hair compared to other dry shampoos. It did a great job absorbing oil. My only complaint is that I don't like the texture it adds but that is pretty typical. It has a fresh scent, almost minty. I do wish there was a little more product though because I don't think it is going to last me long.

I love this dry shampoo a lot. It is so wonderful with fairly fragrance-free and easy to apply. The powder is so ground, it helps my scalp not be so oily. My hair looks so clean and fresh. I love the scent of this one too, it smells so good. The brush is so nice also. It is easy to use and allowed for precise application. I highly recommend this product.

My name is Gabby and I’m a licensed Cosmetologist. I received the The Rootist Talc Free Dry Shampoo Powder. I’m not a big dry shampoo girl. My natural hair color is dark brown and other dry shampoos can make my hair look dry, white or like I have dandruff. I was pleasantly surprised with this dry shampoo because it became invisible after I applied it.

Thank you so much for reading my review. I have over ten years in the beauty industry. I have extremely oily hair. I have used different brands of dry shampoos for as long as I can remember. I was stuck on the aerosol cans for years. It wasn't until recently that I discovered what, it seems like, EVERYONE has known for years about the health risks associated with aerosol dry shampoos. I recently made the switch to powdered dry shampoos. This was perfect timing to try out this product. I. Hated. It. First of all, the tiny container of product cost $26. I used it three times before the container was empty. That is close to $9 per use. I do not have the money for that. Second of all, it is extremely messy. I like the idea to have an "on the go" product, but it went everywhere! I had to use a ton of it because a modest amount was not getting rid of the oil. I would say it is a texturizing powder, not a dry shampoo. Would not recommend.
