I was really looking forward to my verbena scented products from this company which were supposed to be a Christmas treat for the family, which did arrive in good time. However I was extremely disappointed as all of them had only a slight hint of a scent, slightly of lemon. Verbena, however, is a strong ‘lemony’ scent, but it is not quite like lemon - it is a much deeper fragrance and even more lovely than lemon. I have had products from France in the past and from the UK which were strongly scented of verbena and really fabulous. Because of the reviews I had high hopes that there would be no problems with this company‘s products. However I would send all five of them back (room scent, shower wash, hand wash, candle and ‘Christmas pine’ hand wash - also disappointingly faint and slightly disinfectant like!) if I could be bothered and to pay presumably the high cost of postage for a fairly large and heavy package. I shall put this mistake down to experience and never buy more than one product at a time from a new company!
I have not called yet to explain my disappointment and I don’t think it would be worth it as I have seen a response on Trust pilot to somebody who expressed the same very faint scent issue, suggesting that they hadn’t used the product properly!
Quite frankly the Baylis and Harding grapefruit scented hand wash I buy in Morrison’s for £2 has a slightly strongest and at least as authentic a scent!
Needless to say I do not recommend this company‘s products and shall not be buying any products from them in the future.”
“I ordered some Verbena shower gel as a gift as my husband. He was very pleased with this so I ordered two more. He says the gel is very long lasting and good value. He used to use L'Occitane but it is quite expensive and he prefers this make.”
