“Spector has apparently "economised" the build quality of their NS designed bass cases. I have purchased two in the last couple of months and both seem flimsy and poorly constructed. One has loose "leather" strips hanging out between the hinges (I've since ripped them out) and the latches are difficult to close on both. Compared to the original HSC that came with my 1986 Korean-made NS2A, that BTW is still rock solid right down to the hinges and latches, my fear is these won't last more than a few years as I gig very frequently. Such a shame that I have to put such beautiful and highly respected for their quality, let alone cost, instruments in so poorly constructed cases. I'll get my money's worth out of them then buy a G&G custom for each down the road.”
