I received the shade Allumite 8.08 and I actually really like it on my eyelids. This is a good quality product, very easy to apply and it last very long too. In my opinion the packaging could be little bit better. The tube is ok but I do prefer even little pot for products like this one.”
“THE UNSEEN BEAUTY - Spectra eye colour
I had the privilege of testing the spectra eye colour from unseen beauty in the shade “Allumite 8.08” - in terms of the packaging, I wasn’t too big of a fan, it felt quite cheap however I do have to admit it fits well with the holographic vibe they have going on to match the product!
In terms of the product..I was shocked, it’s amazing! When I was first sent it, I applied a little on my hand in broad daylight and only a grey-caste could be seen however when I turned the flash on, it was so so shimmery and stunning! A little goes a really long way! However, I wanted to continually use this product before writing a full review so I used it a few more times and it didn’t disappoint!
I then went out with this on my eye to a party and it looked amazing with the flash on the photos! It stayed on the whole night too :)
In terms of application, it’s really smooth and not gritty at all however as much as I love the product, there were a few limitations too :(
- firstly, it was quite difficult to see what was going where without the camera flash constantly on and application tended to be a tad messy however with some micellar water and a cotton bud, that could easily be fixed :)
- When removing the product after getting it somewhere it shouldn’t be - especially the surrounding eye makeup, it doesn’t really easily come off and tends to smudge which can ruin your other makeup so you have to be quite careful!
As seen in the photo above - the first picture was just my regular eye makeup, with some highlighter used in the inner corner, I had the product on but you couldn’t really see it - it just looked like a grey eyeshadow at most.I used the flash on the second photo without the product and you can see how stunning it looked! It really blended in with my highlighter with the flash on! I cleaned up the top afterwards haha but it truly is just as beautiful as in real life! :)
If you’re someone who goes to raves or parties occasionally, or even if you like taking night time photos outside with the flash on, I would recommend that you consider buying! :) ”
“Amazing Effect- Flashing Great!
So I received this Allumite shade! I had looked at the effects online and was so excited to use it!
I tried it a few times but felt It was really messy to put on and found it hard to make it look nice in daylight.
Once I had managed to get it where I wanted it, I took a photo with the flash and Oh My! It looks amazing in the flash light!
This is such a cleaver and amazing product but as someone who normally uses powder eyeshadow I wouldn’t change to this type of product.
Overall, If you are looking for a statement eye product and are good at applying gel shadow then this is amazing!
But if you find you are a basic eyeshadow wearer then you will need to spend time exploring with the product! ”
