“Love the concept
I love how this works, it dries as a matte finish with quite a good pigment to it and then when the flash is on it is transformed into a sparkly green/gold. The actual green isn’t for me as I find green clashes with my eyes.
This one applied really nicely, it had more of a velvet texture to it and it quickly dried into a matte finish.
If you make mistakes with this I did find it was hard to remove them fully without taking off the whole look.
It can be applied with a brush or a finger, for me personally, a brush was easier as when using my finger I ended up with it in places I didn’t want it.
You only need a small amount to create a good effect with this, it has such a good pigment to it and it applies well, you do need to make sure you apply it evenly as it will show if you don’t.
It is a higher priced product but when you think about how little you need for an application and the fact you’re essentially getting 2 products in one with it being transformed by flash then I believe the price is justified.
Use an oil based cleanser to remove it with ease.
Overall, not a colour for me but I did love everything else about it, I just need to work on applying cream based products.”
“SPECTACULAR SPECTRA
This is an exciting new type of eye colour from THEUNSEEN that looks matte in ordinary light but transforms to a sparkly reflective effect when under a camera flash.
I received the green shade Beudanite 8.84 which I thought was a very wearable colour as it was not too zany. I can imagine it would be popular for a night out under the disco lights and also for photo shoots.
The product is in a little tube and you have to be careful not to squeeze too hard as it oozes out quite quickly. The texture is creamy at first but soon dries to a matte finish. I applied it with my finger which I found gave you more control and you only need a small amount.
It does cost £26 for a 5ml tube but it would last quite a while as it is more for special occasions rather than everyday wear. I was pleased to see that the cosmetic tube is recyclable, the vacuum pouch it arrived in is compostable and the products are not tested on animals.
On the negative side, it is hard to remove and seems to stain the skin which is why I gave it 4 stars but overall I can see this innovative product becoming a popular tool for partygoers and makeup artists.

“Such a niche product, better than expected!
This is such a different and unique product, never seen anything like it before. When I first seen it I was extremely sceptical of the colour Beaudantite as it’s a green and I’m more of a neutrals girl but I wanted to give it a go anyway. Blended in with a neutral on the crease it was gorgeous and really compliments brown eyes! I was shocked and completely turned my opinion around. As you can see from the photo, the before is without the flash, but the unique formula and selling point of this is how it glows up with a camera flash, as you can see with the after photo. I never thought I’d actually put this in my makeup bag, but I definitely will and impressed with the formula and surprisingly love the colour. Will definitely use again and something that I would by in other colours ”
“Unique eye product
This definitely isn’t for day to day looks, but for big nights out and editorial makeup this eye colour is super unique!
I applied over a large area to test this, although I will definitely be trying an eyeliner look in future. It’s really really pigmented, almost like a tube of paint. This can make it a little difficult to apply without turning your hands/ tools blue, so a bit of practice is needed! It’s a pretty wet, creamy formula so best to layer on, so that it dries and doesn’t transfer if you have hooded eyes.
The real selling point of this is the look when taken with a flash, which means editorial looks or nights out is probably what this is most suited to. Once dry, the staying power is huge too, it doesn’t rub off easily at all and I really had to go at it with oil based remover to get it off. Probably not for sensitive eyes in this regard, but great if you’re going to be dancing/sweating! A little steep on the price point I think, but a tube will last a long long time so worth buying if this is your kind of look.”
“Amazing product
I have recieved this product from the company of We are Eves, to test and give honest reviews. I have recieved the shade 8.84 Beudantite. It comes in a cute littlw tube 5ml with black lid. You have to be extremely careful as it comes out alot. I applied with my fingertip and it does feel soft velvety texture when applied but then turnes to matte. It does take time to first dry up so if you want another layer you should atleast wait like 2-3 minutes. It is pigmented and leaves a stain so i would say be careful. But its not really for a casual day out its mostly for events party etc. overall i do recommend this product.”
