“Shimmery Sparkly fun
I wasn’t sure what to expect with this product as it’s unlike any I’ve used before. It’s simply packaged in a silver tube for easy release. Do not squeeze a lot of product out as it dries quickly and a little goes a long way.
The formula is thick and creamy almost like a paint. I prefer to use a brush as I found it awkward with fingers and messy to wash off. I think in future I would use fine paint brushes as opposed to makeup brushes as transfer is easier.
The product applies easily to the skin and it’s similar to stage makeup or face paint. I start with a tiny amount and build it because I find this easiest. It’s opaque and provides intense colour. I really like that it can be used elsewhere on the face or for intricate and elaborate designs.
The shimmery sparkle it provides with the flash is fantastic. It definitely gives a wow factor. You don’t need to add extra glitter or sparkly eyeshadow as it’s an all in one product. I would advise using a primer if you have fine lines and wrinkles as it will highlight them and settle into creases. It’s thick enough to help hide them too if you apply enough of it. I would like to try the other colours in the range because this product would be perfect for festivals and raves. It’s fun and versatile. I did have difficulty taking it off so make sure you use miceller water or makeup remover. Warm soapy water works too. ”
“Oh my shimmer!
Oh my oh my, this pastel tube eyeshadow is out of this world! I’m absolutely stunned and obsessed with it now, a must have for a vibrant and bright carnival look! First impression, I quite liked the small tube, simple yet cute. The shape felt like a paint tube and the texture certainly looked like so, quite creamy but silky and richly thick. The cobalt colour is deep dark blue which darkens even more once dried on the skin. It was easy to apply and then build coverage to personal preference. Took about a minute to dry out and it was time for magic to happen with a flash, omg was my instant reaction. The moment the flash hits the eyeshadow, the hidden and beautiful shimmer popped out leaving me in utter awe. The transformation is amazing, from a matte dark blue to a glorious oceanic blue with rainbow glitter. Once dried the eyeshadow stays strongly with no chance of smudging and fading off, it’s super strong and adhering! BUT fear not, it’s super easy to remove too! I only needed water and soap and voila, after few gentle scrubs, all was gone. I’m so happy with the shade before and especially after and very impressed, 100% recommending this! ”
“ Mega Strong pigment
So this product is not my normal choice, but wow it packs a punch, strong vibrant pigment, I’m not very good at applying eyeshadows as I’m sure you can tell, I applied with a small brush and a little goes a long way, I was surprised how easy it was to remove with a good cleanser and face cloth , I would recommend to people who like a strong look, it in my opinion is for the more advanced in applying makeup up and would love to see it done properly, it’s a lovely creamy shadow and goes on smoothly.”
“Unseen Spectra Eye Colour in Cobalt 4.52
I received the Unseen Spectra Eye Colour in Cobalt 4.52 from the We Are Eves Community.
I used a small amount of the cobalt colour eyeshadow as it is dark and buildable. I thought a small amount would be enough to show on the camera in terms of it’s magic but that was not the case.
I built the eyeshadow up with a considerable amount and filled it fully. After building it up, I retried to see the magic and there it was. Without flash, the eyeshadow looks matte and with flash it sparkles and shines. It’s fun and exists for when you want to get really creative.”
“Great for liner
I really liked this product it’s unlike anything I’ve used before. You can use it as a liner or as a full eye colour. I prefer it as an eyeliner with and to apply with an angled liner brush. It is quite pigmented but you can build it up as much as you’d like to a more opaque colour as pictured. It’s really long lasting and doesn’t wash off easily with water and soap you need to use a makeup remover or micellar water. This shade is really stunning and unique it makes the eye colour pop. ”
“Lovely deep colour
Lovely deep colour that is easy to use and works perfect to shape your eyes and accentuates them. I just had to experiment a little so that it was equally distributed along the eye lids because its liquid and a little runny. Would love this colour and formulation in powder or gel then it would be easy to apply. I noticed you only need a small quantity to apply which is ideal because it lasts longer. I chose Cobalt for the unseen Spectra and its a lovely shade that suits me well with my skin tone. I would recommend it because its nice to go out and wear it for special occasion or when you go out for meals. It gives you that extra touch to your overall make up.”
“Fantastic eye color
The eye color is a really pop up color, best for party make ups. It really blended well and didn’t got dried up. It had a smooth texture after its use. Didn’t smudged around the skin near the eye. Kept my eye skin hydrated and bright. Liked the eye color, easy to apply and nice color. ”
“Innovation in beauty
I was very puzzled when this arrived not really sure what it was. After a little research I was excited to try. A little goes a long way as I discovered, I received the green shade which I'm excited to use at Christmas. Hopefully by that time I will have truly mastered the application. It can be messy but with patience and time you can create some stunning looks. Don't worry about it wearing off it as it proved quite hard to remove. This product is stunning perfect for festivals and theatric party looks.”
