It's super fun! I had the chance to try this product, and I must say it's different from any other I've ever tried. It's not an everyday product for me, but perfect for going dancing. Why is this? It seems to be a normal make up, but when been in the dark a flash hit it, it shows this amazing effect (check the video). Packaging/presentation: reminded me of my watercolor/oil tubes, which for me makes it more special. The product is super pigmented. Shade: Wulfenite 1.11. It's a lovely red color, but depending on the lights, may look like pink-ish. It's not as 'crazy' as it seems when you first take it out from the tube. Texture/application: is super creamy, and it's easy to apply. I tried with my fingers and a brush and it is easy to work both ways. The negative side is that you have to apply it as fast as you can, otherwise it gets dry fast, It becomes mat once it gets dry. I tried working it with a drop of face oil the first time to work it slower, but my greasy skin made it less lasting. I qualified it with 4 stars because it lasted 3 hours and then it started to fade, but nothing that a touch up wouldn't fix. Maybe the price is a bit high, but in the future I will get the 'obsidian 4.10' shade for sure.

Amazing shine I was lucky enough to be sent this product by We Are Eves to test. The colour i was sent is this amazing blue called Cobalt. As it is my first time using this product, i first applied it to my hand. It has a creamy texture that applies very smoothly. Takes about 1 minute until it dries and becomes mat after that. I was very please with the amazing shine it has when you take a picture with the flash on. Perfect for when you go to a party!! The product is also vegan and does not smudge at all once dry. I tried repeatedly to smudge it on my hand, but it stayed in it's place without a problem. One pro-tip i can advice anyone that would want to try this is that there is a lot of product in the tube it comes in. So please be careful not to squeeze the tube too much before you open it to apply the product! The product arrived in a metalic, silver tube. Very sci-fi, bit i personally loved it and it has a black cap as finish. I would definately recommend you try it xx

Great pigment  Easy to apply. A little goes a long way. Very pigmented and lasts a very long time. Lovely creamy texture and this makes applying really easy. Packaging is very classy and makes the product look very high end. All round a top product that I would definitely recommend.

Versatile I was gifted this Spectra eye colour in the shade of cobalt. As a member of the We Are Eves Community. On first impressions a small tube 5mls. My only complaint is the tube lid very fiddly could be larger. I the formula is thick and dries down quickly. I used it as a based applied under eyeshadow. I would of like more pigmentation, liked using this product. I would recommend this product

Artistic The packaging for this product is eye catching as it is not like other brands. The silver tube looks like a tube of paint an artist would use and I did feel as if I was painting it onto my eyes. This eye colour is very easy to apply. Its consistency is quite thick and it spreads well so you do not need to use a lot. I found it easiest to apply with an angled eyeshadow brush. I used it on my eyes as an eye shadow and under eye liner. The effect when using a flash is clear from my photos. With no flash you get a matt green colour. With a flash you get a shiny, bright green colour.  The first ingredient on the ingredients list is glass and I was initially slightly concerned about putting this product on my face let alone around my eyes however I did not experience any issues with it. It would be interesting to know more about the production of the product. I found the product difficult to remove initially and as it was around my eyes I had to be careful. Once the initial layer is removed the rest comes off quite easily. It dried quite quickly and once dry forms a kind of rough, very dry layer that lasts a good while. I think the product would work very well for artistic make up or on a runway however for everyday/ party makeup I think it would be wasted. You would need a camera with a good flash to appreciate its effects and I don't think taking party pictures with a mobile camera would show the beauty of the product. I think the price to quality ratio is fair especially as you do not need to use a lot of the product. I would recommend this eye colour but only for makeup artists or those who are taking high quality photos with a flash otherwise as mentioned above the beauty of the product is wasted.

Must have for makeup artists I have received this item to test from WeAreEves and The Unseen. I like the graphic design of the packaging, and that it's recyclable (including the plastic bag the tube was in, however just some scrunched up newspaper would have been fine for me). I also like the tube because it's very simple, made from aluminium, and it reminds me of a tube of paint which for me is a bonus since I paint as a hobby. The colour I received was 'beudantite' which is a lime green. It's an edgy colour which I think it's also fashionable at the moment, and works with my brown eyes. However I am skeptical to try it on my eyes yet. I know it's been tested but the main ingredient is glass. I don't know how keen I am on having little bits of glass stuck around my eyes when I remove my makeup. I tested it on my hand. Texture - wet-ish paint / whipped cream. When dry it feels like a thin layer but I almost can't feel it. Drying time - not instant, just enough to work it into the skin. Smell - chemical/alcoholic but not very noticeable. Colour payoff - very pigmented darkish lime, can go on thin but it seems like it sits on top of a yellow layer. Rub off - doesn't really rub off easily at all once dry. Glow with flash - really cool holographic effect with a flash photo. I can also see it sparkling when I put the flashlight on it. It can be amazing for the club or an event where you'll be photographed, also good as body makeup. I can see this product as a hidden trick in a makeup artist's kit. Removal - hard with just water and soap, must use an oil based remover. All in all, I am pleasantly surprised by this product and I love the idea behind it. I probably would not normally buy it because of the price and the fact that I do not go out taking flash photos. Next time I will try it on my eyelids.

Easy to apply My first impressions of the Spectra Eye Colour. The packaging is a silver tube, that kind of reminds me of a little tube of paint. I like this as it feels like quite a fun concept. The eye colour is a lovely rich blue, and is very creamy in texture. When applying the product to my eye, I applied it with a little brush, this way I felt as though I had more control over where the product was going. It went on so smoothly. You really only need a small amount, as the product goes quite far. This impressed me because it means that even with a little 5ml tube, you will be able to create a lot of different looks with it. I then took pictures of my finished look without the flash and then with the flash. You can immediately see how the flash activates the retroreflective beads, which make the eye colour change to a blue/silvery shimmer . Although I liked the colour under the flash, this product isn't something I would typically wear. Removing the eye colour had its issues, it doesn't seem to be easy to remove. I eventually used an oil based remover that worked a treat. I would definitely say people who love to party or go to festivals, would get the most use from this product. They would create some colourful looks, and for photos this would look amazing. The price for me, I think is a little high, but for people that would get the most use from it, I think they would be happy to pay and enjoy creating multiple looks. I tried some of the product on my hand to see how well it would remove itself , being that my skin is tougher than my eyes, it came off a little easier. I have decided to post the pics of eye colour on my hand as my eye look was a little messy. Practice makes perfect I'm sure.

Great pigmentation Overall I really like this and would recommend. Given that you only need a very small amount I think it is worth the price tag and will look to purchase some of the other colours as well. Time to get creative!   When I received this to test I loved the simple metallic tube packaging. Just like a tube of paint. All the packaging is recyclable or biodegradable which I like. I got the cobalt blue 4.52 which is very pigmented and a beautiful shade. First impression was it was a very thick creamy consistency. I put a small amount on the back of my hand to work with but found this dried too quickly so switched to a mixing palette which worked much better. An angled eyeliner brush seemed to be the best way to apply it to get a good non patchy coverage.   Because of the consistency it was difficult to get a sharp line on my eyelid. I suspect this would be easier for others with less loose skin on their eyelids. Usually I can make corrections but this was difficult to do with this product and is the reason I have dropped 1 star. The dry time is about 30/45 seconds and once it’s on it’s not going anywhere. I have hooded eyes but once dried there was no transfer at all.   The flashlight feature was nice (a blue silvery colour) but I preferred the original colour.  I could see that this would be good for a very graphic design and I’m looking forward to playing about with this using other products with it.   Removing the product was a little difficult and I had to use an oil based cleanser in the end as my normal foam cleanser did nothing. There will be no worrying about having to reapply this throughout the night.
