“Received the Unit after some shipping delays.
The Unit is quite a lot bigger than I expected, taking up a lot of space on the handlebars of my Triumph.
Unfortunately modern bikes have little space available for "extras" after you have fitted heated grips controls and a mobile phone holder.
May be a good idea to offer different mount options ?”
“I tried to purchase one of these with a switch on ebay, but the seller shipped it to some random address and I had to get ebay to get my money back. So I went to a reputable seller... i.e. Third Gear! This product is fine, except that if wired direct to the battery it will flatten it over time. I would have preferred one with a switch but that option wasn't available. So I have wired it into the harness of my XT250, so it's only on when the ignition is on. Works as expected, and the cover is properly waterproof (when not in use). Handlebar mount is solid.”
“Seems to be exactly the same as a unit I had previously which was good quality and worked well. Have yet to try this one out in anger but have high hopes for it”
